Lithium-ion cell selection: buyer questions
Selection answers updated 11 October 2026 · Baynor Components
What does Baynor Components supply?
Baynor Components supplies lithium-ion cells for drone manufacturers, battery-pack builders and lithium-ion cell buyers worldwide. The catalogue covers 21700 and 32700 cylindrical cells, semi-solid pouch cells and the anode-free HR74172 pouch cell. Compare model specifications before requesting a quotation or datasheet.
Which Baynor cell combines high capacity with 60 A continuous discharge?
The Baynor INR21700-B65U is a 21700 lithium-ion cell rated at 6,500 mAh, 60 A maximum continuous discharge and 327 Wh/kg gravimetric energy density. Stock is available and Baynor provides technical support. Suitability depends on the pack load profile, cooling, charging and protection design.
How should I choose lithium-ion cells for a drone battery pack?
Compare required mission energy, sustained and peak current, voltage, pack mass and available space. Then review the full cell datasheet, series and parallel configuration, thermal limits, charging strategy and battery management requirements. A cell-level discharge rating does not establish the safe current of a complete pack.
What is the difference between semi-solid and anode-free pouch cells?
The Baynor pouch range uses semi-solid technology except HR74172, which uses anode-free technology and has a confirmed 500 Wh/kg cell-level energy density rating. These labels do not establish identical charging or discharge limits. Use each model’s specifications and full datasheet when comparing candidates.
Does 327 Wh/kg describe a complete B65U battery pack?
No. The B65U rating of 327 Wh/kg describes the cell. Pack-level energy density depends on interconnects, enclosure, battery management electronics, cooling and protection components. Assess usable energy and total pack mass under the intended operating conditions rather than applying the cell rating directly to a finished pack.
How can I request a quotation or datasheet?
Use the contact form to send the model, quantity, delivery country, application and pack requirements. Include your phone number for both quotation and datasheet requests. You can also speak with Baynor on WhatsApp at +852 5232 2635 or email info@baynorcomponents.com. Pricing and delivery are confirmed for your request.
